Medical Oxygen and Nitrous Oxide Manifolds are designed to supply constant pressure and flow via Control Panels. Cylinders are connected in TWIN BANK configuration. When ONE BANK (Duty Bank) is used, the other BANK (Reserve Bank) is kept as stand by or reserve. When Duty Bank is exhausted, the Reserve Bank will automatically switch to Reserve Bank. This is necessary for ensuring uninterrupted supply of the gases. This will also have an audio-visual alarm. to indicate the change. The empty cylinders will now be replaced by full ones. The Control Panel is installed between the two Banks. to ensure that both the banks are not depleted simultaneously.
Compressed Medical and Surgical air is administered to the patient through the Ventilator and Anaesthesia Equipment. It is primarily used for respiratory therapy in areas like nurseries, emergency Rooms, intensive care areas, etc. at a pressure of 4 bars. It is also widely used in Operation Theatre areas. It is also used in dental application and to drive pneumatic surgical instruments at a pressure of 7 bar.
Vacuum is not a medical gas, but it is part of medical gas systems. It is widely used throughout hospital facilities in patient treatment and laboratory. In surgical recovery and intensive care areas, it is used to remove fluids, from incisions and assists vital post operative drainage. It is also used in dental application.
Ward Vacuum Unit is a pneumatically operated medical suction apparatus, for aspiration of vomits, secretion, etc, used for continuous low vacuum for prolonged suction of body cavity. The range of the Ward vacuum Unit is 0 - 760 mm/hg. These are made of high quality poly carbonate jars, auto cleavable up to 136 degree centigrade. There are different capacities of jars available - 600 ml. 1000 ml and 2000 ml.
Theatre Vacuum Units are having two jars made of Poly Carbonate each having 2000 ml. Capacity. A three way valve is provided to allow use of either or both suction jars.
A trolley with castors is also provided for ease of mobility.
The BPC flow meters are having twin walled tubes having bottom assembly with inbuilt needle valves for efficient flow regulation while administering medical oxygen to patient. Each flow meter has dual scale calibration of 0 - 15 Its/min. range.
The ventury based cold humidifiers are also provided to use with flow meters, where the patients’ natural humidifying process is by- passed by endotracheal tubes.
In order to prevent damage to the patient’s resparatory track, the dry air/oxygen, before being administered to the atient, is made to bubble through water, so as to moisten his resparatory tract.
The pendants fitted to the ceiling can provide convenient source of services to the work area. The Double Arm or Single Arm Medical Pendant allow complete flexibility
in placing various gas and electrical connections over a large area of Operation Theatres or Intensive Care Unit, without cluttering up the work area.
Medical gas outlet configuration:
(Quantity of the outlets optional)
The Ceiling Pendants are manufactured in Stainless Steel with high quality paint finish.
Monitor shelves fitted in both sides can be rotated 360 degrees.
Bed head panels are designed to provide a convenient and flexible supply of Medical gases, electrical power, lightening to the head of the hospital bed. These are having attractive appearance and are made up of strong aluminium Extrusion alloys. These are available in different length and widths, as per the customer’s Specification. Same way, gas outlets and electrical sockets (5 - 15 amps) are provided as per the requirement of the customers.
